CREATIVE STRATEGY
Creative strategy is a vital role in all of the arts and entertainment industries and can be seen as another element in any product development process. Strategies can include leading the communication design, interactive design, and pushing the concept forward. Some examples of this process are visual layout, brainstorming, and copywriting.
Creative strategy can often be defined as the outline prepared by the creative team of an advertising agency for the launching of an advertising campaign or message. While this is still a true statement, the role also extends itself to web and digital when considering a well-thought-out UI/UX design. A creative strategy is generally developed by a team composed of one or more copywriters, an art director, and a creative director. The outcome of this team strategy outlines how the campaign or project will meet the objectives of the client.
I possess several years of experience collaborating with teams on creative strategies for national brands and regional businesses, including working onsite with a team of creatives or offsite as a consultant.
