BRAND IDENTITY
The expression of a brand – including its name, trademark, communications, and visual appearance – is brand identity. This identity reflects how the owner wants the consumer to perceive the brand – and by extension the branded company, organization, product, or service. Brand identity is fundamental to consumer recognition and symbolizes the brand's differentiation from its competitors. The brand identity works as a guideline and frame in which a brand will evolve and define itself, or a unique set of associations that the brand aspires to create or maintain.
